Chicken Barbecue Recipe
Check out my latest addiction " Barbecue" Yup! I'm into grilling lately (indoor grilling) It just a nice way to used my Cuisinart GR-4N Griddler - Christmas gift from my sister in-law on Christmas. What makes it awesome? Its non-stick, very easy to store and dishwasher safe, Yay! easy clean-up and you can totally cook almost everything! So, that barbecue craving during winter season is not a question anymore using this Griddler super loved it:) Anyways, who loves chicken barbeque??? Any kind of barbeque?? I got a very simple recipe marinade to make the barbeque extra special.. YUM! I'm like drooling while making this post ( hahahah) I'm big fan of any kind of barbecue.
Today, why not try this super easy peasy chicken barbecue. It might be your next favorite dish. The ingredients for marinade is super easy and I'm sure its already in your pantry. Just combine everything and we are on our way to a perfect barbeque... Yay! I've tried this marinade and been using same ingredients ever since, I can't remember who told me about adding the sprite into the marinade but it really does make the difference. Don't worry it is optional and you can totally just add little sugar depend on your taste preference.
Do you have a good barbeque marinade? or something you add to your marinade. Please share! I love to explore and experience different flavor and I might try it sometimes. I forgot to mention, Mama Sita's marinade is also really good by the way if you haven't tried them, give it a try..:) My favorite is the Mama Sita's Barbeque marinade.. YUM! or you can simply have my recipe...:) C'mon lets start grilling some chicken barbeque..:)
Note: Use your favorite choice of meat and adjust the taste according to your preference.
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breast - chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 lemon
1 onion- finely chopped
2 clove garlic- finely chopped
1/4 cup sprite or 2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
salt and pepper- to taste
Bamboo skewers
Directions:
1.) Prepare all the ingredients by chopping the onion, garlic and the chicken.
2.) In large container just combine the soy sauce, ketchup, lemon juice , salt and pepper. The sprite is optional but it add flavor to the dish I highly recommend to add it to the mixture but if you don't feel comfortable with sprite, a little sugar will do.:)
3.) Combine the chicken, onion, garlic and the marinade sauce. Let it set for couple hours before grilling. I do mine overnight..:)
4.) Turn on the Griddler or Grill. Meantime, skew the chicken into the bamboo skewers until everything is done.
5.) Start grilling the chicken barbeque. Brush little marinade if you have to. It would take couple minutes on each side and.. DONE!
6.) Enjoy the chicken barbeque with your family and friends..:)
See you in few days for some great recipes and if you have any good recipe that you want me to try. Just leave me a comment..:) Have great week everyone!:)
