Apple Walnut Sticky Bun
inspired by:
Sandra Lee- money saving meals recipe
Sticky buns are a dessert or breakfast sweet roll that generally consist of rolled pieces of leavened dough — sometimes containing brown sugar or cinnamon —
which are then compressed together to form a kind of flat loaf
corresponding to the size of the baking pan. Before the dough is placed
in the pan, the latter is lined with the "sticky" ingredients like maple syrup, honey
(or both), as well as nuts and perhaps more sugar and sometimes butter.
After the buns are baked, they are inverted so that the pan lining then
becomes a topping ( source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_bun )

Thank you, Eliz:)
DeleteI really want to start baking, pastries especially. What tips can you give me on how to start particularly on the pans, or other baking equipment? Appreciate it, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst thing first, you need to have a electric mixer, it doesn't have to be expensive as long as you comfortable using it. I used hand mixer at first then buy the stand mixer later on for bread. On choices of baking pans, I always go with dark non-stick, glass bakeware for potluck parties. I bought mine one a time and until now I don't have much collections whatever work out for you. Next is for decoration purposes like icing, sprinkles, pipping bag then the perfect recipe of your choice. Hope it helps..:)
