Advance Happy Easter Everyone!

Easter is something that I look forward, the festive celebration, the egg-hunt, and egg decorating is just so much fun bonding moments for the whole family. This year, I'm really excited! because my kids is now at perfect age, were they expresses their excitement and thoughts about Easter, and that makes me so happy. To pump it up to the next level-  Two days ago, I started shopping for my kids Easter egg basket and came up with this Awesome Easter Ideas. I can't wait to share my kiddies Easter basket. Also, I'll be sharing some sweet recipes, tips, and ideas for awesome Easter celebration. Are you excited? Let's go!

Shopping for Easter Basket: I shopped a week before Easter, where mostly are on SALE. Yes! saving money on things you buy is so much FUN.
Tips: Use coupons, rewards cards, and take advantage on store sales and discounted products. Seasonal products like Easter candies, basket and eggs usually go on sale, paired that with coupons. Awesome!

A Perfect Easter Basket: Aside from sweet chocolates and candies that you put on your Easter egg. You can also put some cute little things like hair ties, nail polish, lip gloss, and coins. Make it FUN!

Now that we got everything we need for Easter Basket. Let's start!
- Lay piece of paper on the bottom of the basket, to avoid Easter grass from falling out. I used two color of shredded paper on mine as my Easter grass. (Blue and White)
- Put a piece or two candies on the each plastic eggs.
-Once the plastic eggs is all filled with candies. It's time to start putting them on the basket.
- Whoala! Easter basket for kiddies is DONE
Tips:
Used travel size lotion, body wash and hair clips to make more fun. Also used your kids favorite CANDIES.:)



Easter Egg-hunt Ideas:

- Invite your family and friends 3-4 weeks before Easter.
- Scatters the eggs before the egg hunt begin. I suggest hide it all over the house, or if you have big backyard that would be great as well. Make it fun and colorful by using different colors of eggs.
- Make the Easter gathering fun, easy and stress free by letting your friends and family bring some dish to share. Yum!
-Enjoy the moment with your family on Easter and have fun watching the kids hunting for their eggs.

 Egg Decorating with Fiora temporary tattoos:

Aside from the most awaited Easter celebration and making my kiddos Easter basket. I'm also very exited when it comes to egg decorating. Yes! this is something that I look forward to this year. Together with my kids, we dye 6 eggs and color them using an egg coloring. I invited my friends to come over to join with our egg decorating to make it more fun and festive for the kids.We used our Fiora temporary tattoos samples to decorate the eggs. Party Favor Idea


 Birthday Favor

( Binangkal )

I do love creating some party favor idea myself. As food enthusiast party food favor is way to go. I made this birthday favor for my friend Rachel, her little princess turned one couple weeks ago..So, I insisted to make this party favor for my fellow friends. As you know me I like to style my food, package them with CUTE stuff that you can easily find it at your home. The birthday theme is Disney princess, white and pink balloons and such more princess stuff. The birthday party was wonderful every one is just having FUN..:)
 I made this Binangkal ( sesame balls- as my hubby called it ) for the party treat, my friends loved them and so do I.. If you want to know the recipe for binangkal just click HERE very easy to make with few ingredients.. This is like an idea for party favor, I would say just be creative and you got perfect treat for your guest every time. Below is the procedure on how to make this cute party favor. Check it out.. (wink)

Notes: 
-Make sure to make the binangkal little smaller to fit on the mini cupcake cups.
-It is personalized party favor, so feel free to use your favorite treat.
-Be creative.. used your favorite color and theme for packaging.

Things you'll need:
12 pieces Binangkal
12 pieces mini cupcake cups
Clear plastic wrap
Colored napkin- I used orange 
Pen
Scissor
Colored paper
 String/Ribbons


Directions:
 1.) Place the mini cupcake cups on the plate. Cut the colored napkin into little triangle and place it on the center on the cupcake cups. Then place your treat on the center;

2.) Cover it with using your cut off plastic wrap; make sure you wrapped every single part of the treats; Then using the plastic string tie the whole thing; slip the notes on the side and tie it one more time.

3.) Enjoy the party and don't forget to grab some party favor.:)

Gift Ideas


Sweet Bucket Treats

Last week, I celebrated my 5th wedding Anniversary. I was stoked how things turn out, It was simple yet so sweet. It's kinda strange feeling not hearing any whining or screaming in the house, but I'm so glad my mother in-law keep the kids overnight, so that we can go out and celebrate. 

Below is some ideas on how we celebrate our anniversary.

1.) Treat Ourselves- Hubby went out to get hair cut, while I shopped at the store. I got new perfume and little cute dress... then went back home get dress and head out for dinner.:)

2.) Dinner at Outback Steakhouse- We had dinner at our favorite steakhouse, get some drinks and the food is just divine.

(My drink- Mango Sangria)

3.) Movie Night- After our dinner, we pick up some movie at the store. The perfect movie night just the two of us.

4.) Homemade Gift for HIM-  I made my " Sweet bucket Treats" for my hubby, So, everything inside the bucket is just all about him...:)

Things you need:
Unused bucket/ basket
Gift wrapper
Magazine
Ribbons
Tape/ Glue

 Directions:
1.) All you have to do, is cover the bucket with unused gift wrapper. Put some special touches. Make it look good that fits on his personality. Keep simple!:)

* Love coupons- I put together 5 questions behind the love coupons, unforgettable events during the course of our 5 year marriage. If he got the answer it right, he can claim the coupon anytime with no expiration.. wink:)
example: Traditional Anniversary that represent "WOOD" something like that and much more.

* Anniversary Card-  When he opened the card,  the music played .. 'I don't wanna missed a thing'
 and he smiled.. this the song you sang the very first time I called you.. and the reason why I sang to him is simply I don't understand what hes talking.. hahaha
He asked me? How long it took you to find this card?! I just laughed.. 5 years? 

* Candies/ Cookies/ Brownies-  I bought (5) of his favorite candies, His favorite fudge brownies, .and then I bake (5) big chunk  his all time favorite  chocolate chip cookies 


 -That's how my anniversary celebration went,  I hope you get some sweet ideas for your special someone.. and surprise them with this cute, simple gestures. I know they gonna love it!

Paper Rose


 Homemade Paper Rose

( Perfect for any special occasions )

 

I love handmade crafts, I always finds way to create something simple yet so cute! Aside from passion of cooking, I love crafts stuff. I was really inspired to discovered new things, Trying  this Paper Rose is one of them. I was excited on how it turned out and I'm happy of the result. It would be nice addition to the baby shower stuff that I made earlier this week. For now, I don't know if I'm gonna leave it like this or put some steams and put it on nice vase, I still don't know! or just scattered it on the table.. (hahaha)
This is also nice crafts for Valentines Day, thinking about making some for valentines day. But I don't have red card-stock paper. I think pink will do. ( wink ).
 I can't wait for baby shower for my friend Cherry and Rose and for their new bundle of joy. It's gonna be the best experience they gonna have, that gonna change their life forever. It won't be easy at first but everyone handle it just fine, As I would say, " You learn as you GO! Being a Mom of two wonderful kids is PRICELESS!

Things you need:
Cardstock
5 petal flower puncher- I just draw flowers and cut them off
Glue
Pen- use trace the flowers and to curl the petals aswell.


 Trace the five petal flowers on the card stock and cut it. You'll need 4 petals in order to make one Rose.


Using the Pen, curl the end petals just like on the picture above.


Glues the rose bud first, Then glue the other petals alternate to each other to create a nice rose. You can used glue gun for faster results, I just used glue and tie it with rubber band let it sit for 15-20 minutes until glue completely dry out.

Then  pull the petals one at time and curl it back to look like rose.

Me and my good friend Mj will be throwing baby shower next month, So, this is like a continue project for  baby shower favors that I'm making, I'm thinking it would be great addition to the  Homemade Little Boxes I made earlier this week. I was little busy this week celebrating my birthday, work, kids and family, I'm still find some time to make this homemade treat bags, experimenting as I would say (haha). Its like family time with me and my kids, before they take their afternoon nap. It's always fun doing it.
 I love to be busy all the time, it seems like time goes so fast and I wanna do as much as I can ( wink ).  " Time is GOLD" so every minute is valuable.. cheers! Happy weekend everyone!

Things you need: 
Scissor
Glue
Card-stock
Ribbons/ embellishment
      Directions:

Fold the crease area of the card stock. Use the tip of the scissor to flatten the surface. Then cut little slit on both side. Just like the picture above.Continue the process until everything is done.

I personalized this cute little treat bag by putting some baby decorations, heart embellishment perfect for baby shower theme.

Glued all little treat bags, Let is set for 30 minutes or so, and add some ribbons on top or you can totally just leave as simple as is it.

Homemade Cute Little Boxes 

( Perfect for any special occasions )

Few weeks from now, Me and my good friend Mj will be hosting a double baby showers for our friends Cherry and Rose. I hosted a baby shower before for my best friend Michelle 2 years ago, been awhile. So, I wanna make this shower memorable for mommies to-be, just like how I remember my first baby shower, It was fun and unforgettable experience. So, as part of this baby shower preparation I made this Homemade Cute little boxes for favors. It very cute, simple and thoughtful favors for the guests.A perfect way to say " Thank You" for coming and celebrating this special day for mommies to-be. I have so much fun doing it and I have some little helpers with me, my kids! ( haha! ) Imagine how chaotic it is on the table, but we had FUN! and that all matters.. wink:)
Try to make this cute little box for your friends and love ones, Just estimate how big is the item and then you can adjust using your card stock...

 Things you need:
Card stock - I used baby colors for the baby shower theme.
Scissor
Glue/ double sided tape- I used glue
Butter knife- Used to crease the side of the paper
Paper Pins
Embellishments/ Ribbons/ Cut outs- I used heart embellishment, personalized print out from my computer and colorful ribbons.
 Fold the card stock into half; cut. and fold it again 1/4 size, this time cut letter C on both end of the card stock. ( just like picture on top )

 Fold it in half just like on the picture above.

Crease both side of the paper using butter knife

Glue the two little end of the card stock, secure it by using paper pins. Let it stand for like 15 minutes or so.

 Pulled all the paper clips and you're ready to decorate!

I used heart embellishment on the side and the cut outs on the center of the box.

 Push the side end of the paper. Add some ribbons for final touch.
