Happy Friday! Everyone:)
Wohoo! It's Friday once again and I have a confession to all of you. I'm a Noodle Lover! Yes! I can pretty much eat noodles every week. I don't even mind eating it everyday (hahaha). This week, I'm sharing my ultimate favorite combo. Yup! It's the combination of Pancit Canton and Bihon which is my two ultimate favorite ingredients. Back home, we call it BAM-E but some of my friends called it Pancit Bihon- which basically the combination of two different kind of noodles. The cooking process is not differ from stir fried noodles or chow mien. YUM! Guess what, I have for my breakfast today? heheheh
The reason why I love Noodles especially Pancit..wink!
- It's delicious and super easy to make. We are talking about less than 30 minutes preparation. Isn't it perfect for quick fix dinner?
- Very affordable and can feed a large crowd, so perfect for get together and parties, a crowd pleaser indeed.
- Very versatile, It can be entree or appetizer and can be served hot or cold
- Almost everyone I know, love this DISH. It just so FUN to eat, especially for kids and kids at heart!:)Do you love noodles or pancit as much as I do? Share me your thoughts or maybe your favorite ingredients on your pancit! The cooking process varied from region to region and they all equally delicious. This recipe is my own version that I learned from my Mom. So, feel free to change something or anything according to your taste preference. So grab your noodles, vegetables and meat of your choice and lets start cooking. :) wink....
Notes:
- Some of the ingredients are optional. You can add your favorite vegetables and meat if you like. Taste according to your preference.
Directions:
1.) Put a warm water on large bowl, Add the Bihon or rice noodles and let it soak for about 10 minutes or so or until its soften. Meanwhile, chopped all the vegetables and put little soy sauce of choice of meat. Set aside.
2.) Add little oil in large pan. Put the chopped marinated pork and let it brown. Add little oil if you have too, then add the onion, garlic and pepper. Saute for couple minutes.
3.) Add the chopped vegetables. Let it cook for like 5 minutes, Add little water and your pansit bihon sauce mix, if you don't have one soy sauce will do.
4.) Add the pancit canton and drained bihon. Combine all the ingredients. Add salt and pepper or soy sauce to achieve that nice brown color that your looking for.
5.) Let it stand for couple minutes until everything cooked. Taste and DONE!
6.) Enjoy it with family and friends..:) YUM!
